Educated at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Brian Patrick Flynn started his career as a news producer before crossing over from network to cable to focus on home improvement TV production. Flynn said that his work both in front of as well as behind the camera enables him and his team “to stay totally current with what’s hot and what’s not in interior design. We can see trends before they emerge and avoid doing the same things that everyone else is doing.”

Flynn’s aesthetic is “really eclectic and tailored,” he said. “I like just about every single style, from traditional and country to mid-century modern and transitional. What intrigues me most is to combine styles that aren’t usually paired together — like contemporary and casual — to create something new, or to take a vintage look that’s been around forever and make it completely original and relevant by changing the material or finish.”
