Crystorama Lighting Enjoys Busy High Point Market
Style Leader Attracts New Business from Furniture Stores, Designers and Specialists

Westbury, N.Y. - Decorative lighting source Crystorama Lighting enjoyed a strong High Point Market this month as a variety of new and existing customers placed orders to keep up with growing demand at retail.

Crystorama's popular chandelier and sconce introductions this market included Luna, an industrial modern design with flat, sleek panels reminiscent of ribbon; Layla, which features a drum-shaped shade lined with slim metal discs that appear to be floating; and a new version of Sylvan, a clean transitional design now available in a dark bronze finish with flax linen shade.

Luna, Layla and Sylvan fixtures
"Luna drew the biggest buzz for us," said Brad Kleinberg, president of Crystorama Lighting, recently named this year's winner of the prestigious ARTS Award for lighting fixtures. "Customers were drawn to the collection's unique two-tone design, which combines a striking English bronze finish on the outside with rich antique gold on the inside, and its ability to work in a wide range of settings."

In addition, Crystorama also did well with the Sylvan collection - both the new version as well as the existing model in polished nickel with white linen shade, Kleinberg said. "Customers like Sylvan's clean lines and open, airy feeling."

Sylvan is part of the Libby Langdon for Crystorama collection, which was shown in fellow licensing partner Braxton Culler's showroom as well as in Crystorama's space in the Loloi showroom at the IHFC's Design Center.

"This market, we attracted a good mix of furniture stores, interior designers and hospitality firms, including a lot of companies we haven't done business with before," said Kleinberg. "We've been showing in High Point for about three years with Loloi and each market we get busier and busier."

Kleinberg added that Crystorama plans to increase its space in the Loloi showroom for the October High Point Market. "Loloi has been a great showroom partner for us," he said. "Our lines work well together and they do a great job of generating traffic during market."
