| Westbury, N.Y. - Fast-growing lighting manufacturer Crystorama Lighting had a busy October High Point Market as interior designers, full-line furniture stores and home accent specialists visited the company's showroom in the IHFC's Design Center to see the latest trends in fixtures for today's living spaces. |
Among the Crystorama products drawing attention at the show were the modern art-inspired Luna sphere chandelier, in light bronze and gold; the Broche sphere chandelier with vine details, in English bronze and burnished, antique gold; and the Sylvan chandelier, a transitional design in a dark bronze finish with flax linen shades and polished nickel with white silk shades.
| "Luna continues to create a big buzz for us," said Brad Kleinberg, president of Crystorama Lighting, this year's winner of the prestigious ARTS Award for lighting fixtures. "Customers were drawn to the collection's unique two-tone finish and its ability to work in a wide range of settings." |
In addition to Luna, Crystorama also generated lots of activity with its Broche and Sylvan designs. "Customers liked the dramatic, outdoor-inspired elegance of Broche, and they also responded to the clean lines and open, airy feeling of Sylvan."
Kleinberg added that Sylvan is part of the popular Libby Langdon Lighting for Crystorama program, a licensed line that continues to gain momentum at retail. "Consumers have really embraced Libby's new Crystorama Lighting products," said Kleinberg. "Her designs are functional, fashionable and affordable. She takes a very fresh approach to classic design, creating lighting fixtures that are totally in tune with today's lifestyles."
According to Kleinberg, Crystorama attracted a mix of customers this market, "including many designers we haven't done business with before. Our efforts to raise our profile have been paying off because a number of new prospects came into the showroom already having seen our products through our catalog or our website."
To thank customers for their loyalty, Crystorama hosted a reception during market. The event included cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and live music, as well as an appearance by Langdon, who met with retailers, designers and the media.
"During the past year, we've strengthened our brand to make it even more relevant and fashion-forward, and our retailers and other customers have supported this evolution every step of the way," said Kleinberg. "We're looking forward to building on this success in 2016 and beyond."
