New Crystorama Lighting Designs Range from Industrial Chic to Updated Classic
Ten Fresh, Fashion-Forward Collections Being Introduced at Lightovation

Westbury, N.Y. - Crystorama Lighting will spotlight ten new fashion-forward lighting collections at Lightovation, the Dallas International Lighting Show being held Jan. 20 to 24.

The lighting leader's introductions range from the chic, industrial-inspired looks of the new Dakota and Hollis Collections to the luxurious, upscale glam design of the new Bleecker Collection. Also on tap are Dixon, a bold new geometric design, and several collections that put a fresh twist on classic, including Essex.

Two new models will feature an on-trend white finish, either as an accent or as the dominant element, building on a hot new direction in home furnishings décor.

"Texture and color play an important role in our latest round of introductions," said Brad Kleinberg, president of Crystorama Lighting, a leading source of decorative chandeliers, pendants, sconces and other lighting in a wide range of styles, materials and finishes. "A number of our new collections feature complex colorations of gold, silver and bronze, with detailed distressing and texturing that add extra 'pop.' But we also are updating two of our most popular collections - Luna and Broche - with clean white finishes. White adds an element of nuance and subtle beauty that makes the stylish lines of these fixtures really shine."

Kleinberg said that Crystorama is constantly studying emerging directions in fashion and home design to keep the company's lighting styles current with the latest trends in color, texture and shaping. "Our new collections showcase the unique, handcrafted details that make lighting an accessory for the home, as jewelry is to fashion."

Always looking for new ways to excite consumers, Crystorama heads into the 2016 Lightovation show with strong momentum from the new products and marketing programs it rolled out during 2015. Kleinberg said: "We're expecting another great market. Our business has been very good, and the lighting category continues to be a bright spot for those retailers who are being proactive and creative with their merchandise mixes and marketing efforts. In general, lighting retailers are optimistic about the category's prospects in 2016 and looking for new ways to build their business."

Kleinberg added that he expects this January's Lightovation event to be "particularly exciting," since it marks the debut of the show's new name and fresh look. The event provides an important opportunity for retailers seeking to freshen up their assortments for the coming year, he added.

"With some of the uncertainty that exists surrounding recent news events, Americans are spending an increasing amount of time at home," he said. "They're focusing more energy on their homes and their families and are investing more to make their living spaces comfortable and welcoming. Quality lighting offers a way to instantly transform any room without having to make a huge investment."

To strengthen awareness of its brand at retail and among the public, Crystorama plans to continue running a steady stream of high-fashion ads in leading shelter magazines such as Elle Decor, Veranda and House Beautiful in 2016. Crystorama supports these brand-building efforts with a variety of marketing tools, including an active social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Houzz.
