  • See what Lighting Trends are Shaping 2025 Spaces

See what Lighting Trends are Shaping 2025 Spaces

Shyla chandelier Explore the six major lighting trends of 2025 that are set to shape the aesthetics and ambiance of your space. Whether you're embarking on a new construction project or renovating an existing space, the significance of lighting cannot be overstated. It has the power to transform a room's atmosphere and functionality, turning it from bright and expansive to intimate and subdued. Often underestimated, lighting is one of the most crucial elements in the design process. Each year, new trends emerge, guiding the way forward. Dive into the latest lighting trends of 2025, from vibrant colors to designs inspired with happiness in mind, and see what will make a significant impact in the coming year. 1. INTERESTING TEXTURES & MATERIALS Designer: Emily Moss @emilymossdesgins       Jayna Chandelier This calming bedroom retreat showcases the transformative power of textural materials in lighting design. The woven jute chandelier serves as a sculptural focal point, drawing the eye upward while softly diffusing light throughout the space. Crafted from organic materials, fixtures like this infuse interiors with warmth and a tactile, nature-inspired beauty. Paired with a serene ombré wall treatment, layered neutrals, and soft textiles, the lighting helps shape an atmosphere of tranquility—adding both dimension and understated luxury to the room’s coastal-modern aesthetic. 2. BOLD COLORED FINISHES Designer: Rachel Brown @rbinteriors_by_rachel_brown       Xavier Chandelier  In today’s design landscape, bold color is no longer reserved just for walls—lighting fixtures are now stepping into the spotlight. This richly layered dining room exemplifies the trend, where deep wine-red walls and midnight velvet drapery create a cocoon of sophistication. At the center, a striking multi-arm chandelier in a muted slate blue with warm brass accents anchors the room with confidence. Homeowners and designers alike are embracing fixtures in vibrant or nuanced shades, using them as expressive design elements. Colored glass and painted finishes are gaining popularity as a way to bring personality and a curated touch to interiors. Here, the chandelier doesn’t just illuminate—it punctuates the space with style, harmonizing with the room’s moody palette and global-inspired decor. 3. VINTAGE & NOSTALIC VIBES Designer: Kevin Francis O'Gara @kfogara         Maizey Chandelier Designers continue to embrace the charm of vintage influences and nostalgic styling into 2025, and this dining room captures the trend with flair. The gold chandelier—complete with crystal drops and candle-style bulbs—evokes old-world elegance, while the playful scalloped chairs and graphic diamond-pattern wallpaper add a retro punch reminiscent of the 1950s and '60s. It's a perfect example of how contemporary lighting with a vintage twist can elevate a space, blending timeworn character with modern attitude. This trend isn’t about recreating the past—it’s about reinterpreting it with personality and polish. 4. SCULPTURAL DESIGNS THAT MAKE A STATEMENT Addis Chandelier Lighting in 2025 continues its evolution into statement-making sculpture. This vibrant dining room proves that chandeliers are no longer just functional—they're works of art. The cascading pink art glass fixture floats like a modern sculpture, casting a soft glow while commanding attention with its form and color. These bold, artistic designs—often oversized and composed of curved or tiered elements—bring drama, movement, and texture to a space. Whether in colorful glass, sculptural metal, or abstract silhouettes, chandeliers are becoming expressive centerpieces that anchor a room’s design and invite admiration, even when unlit. 5. NATURE-INSPIRED Designer: Stephanie Schmid @sschmidhome      Broche Chandelier The growing trend of nature-inspired lighting is flourishing in 2025, bringing organic elegance into even the most refined spaces. This bathroom showcases the look beautifully, with a chandelier that mimics a golden cluster of leaves—casting soft shadows and creating a sense of sculptural serenity overhead. More than just illumination, these fixtures channel the grace of the natural world, seamlessly blending into both classic and modern interiors. From leafy silhouettes to floral motifs, this trend evokes a sense of calm and connection, turning lighting into a poetic tribute to nature’s artistry. 6.SPACES THAT SPARK HAPPINESS Designer: Brian Patrick Flynn           Truax Pendant In 2025, more designers are embracing interiors that feel deeply personal, emotionally uplifting, and unapologetically joyful. This hallway is a radiant example of the trend—where color, art, and a sense of play come together to celebrate everyday life. A globe pendant in white and brass adds a sculptural modern touch, while the vibrant gallery wall and richly patterned runner evoke creativity, nostalgia, and warmth. From playful proportions to curated artwork, “designing with joy” is about creating environments that make you smile, tell your story, and invite connection. It’s not just about aesthetics—it’s about emotion, memory, and mood. For more lighting and design inspiration, visit us on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and Twitter. • From Flush Mounts to Pendants: Choosing the Perfect Hallway Lighting

From Flush Mounts to Pendants: Choosing the Perfect Hallway Lighting

Design: Rose Rock @roserock918         Truax pendant  Whether you’re looking to make a bold statement or prefer something more subtle, hallway lighting options are endless. We’ve gathered plenty of stylish ideas to brighten your hallway and elevate your home's aesthetics. Design; Elle Luna Interiors @elle_luna_interiors            Xaviers Chandelier Functionality Meets Style in Hallway Lighting When it comes to hallway lighting, functionality should be the top priority, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style. Flush and semi-flush fixtures are excellent design elements, especially for hallways with 8-foot ceilings. These fixtures should be 14 inches tall to ensure enough clearance for people walking underneath. Ideally, the bottom of the fixture should be approximately 7 feet from the floor. Be mindful of doors that may open into the fixture; in such cases, opt for fixtures no taller than 10 inches. Don’t be afraid to make a statement with a dramatic chandelier or two for hallways with high ceilings. Chandeliers draw the eye upward and can become a focal point. Layer the lighting with wall sconces that coordinate or contrast in color for a unique twist. Broche Flush light Ceiling Mounts for Low Ceilings Ceiling mounts are a practical choice for low ceilings. Install several lights in a row to ensure adequate illumination throughout the hallway. This setup provides even lighting and enhances the overall look. Design: Lauren Vallario @laurenvallario.designs            Jayna Pendant Create a Focal Point with Multiple Lights Coordinate your lighting fixtures with window frames and hardware to create a cohesive look. For instance, hanging pendants down a long hallway can create a striking focal point that enhances the hallway's length and style. Design: Bria Hammel @briahammelinteriors       Broche Flush light Add Elegance with Statement Fixture Large-scale chandeliers work beautifully in hallways with tall ceilings. They draw attention to the height and add an element of grandeur. Arranging three pendants in a row can make a bold and elegant statement. Design: Rachel Duarte @rd_designstudio                 Broche chandelier Layer Light for a Welcoming Space Layering light is key to creating a well-lit and inviting hallway. Mix overhead lights with sconces and lamps to ensure comprehensive illumination. This layered approach adds depth and dimension to the space. Fulton Mount Try Color Coordinating Lighting For a subtle yet effective approach, coordinate your lighting fixtures with your decor.
